Our school recently hosted its 4th Annual Chess Tournament, where competitors from different schools, age categories, and skill levels all came together to showcase their passion for the game. Books are essential for the mind, heart, and soul. At HCA, each student and each family has a library account. Hinkson Library holds a beautiful collection of English books for all ages, fiction and nonfiction. Our Korean books collection has been expanding for the last few years. In this digital era, you can access our book collection online at https://hcaru-ind.methone.opalsinfo.net/bin/home . When you find a book you like, come to school to check it out and enjoy the art of reading, flipping through actual pages. If you are not a part of the HCA community you can still get a library account with us for an annual fee of 5000 rubles per family per year. In case of a lost or damaged book we ask for a refundable deposit of 3000 rubles that will be returned to you at the end of the school year.

The HCA science department showcased experiments and reports from students in grades 6-11. Our young scientists worked diligently over the course of several months to finish some fascinating projects, which visitors could then examine while speaking with students. Judges from various scientific disciplines were present to critique and evaluate what the students completed. It was a joy to host this science fair again, and to welcome members of the community to be a part of the learning opportunities which Hinkson has to offer.
